My participation NEP2020 inclusion in Board of Studies Meeting

🚀 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧! 🎓

I am immensely proud to be part of the Board of Studies at IIMP, Pune University since December 2022. Thank you to the Vice Chancellor of Pune University for nominating me for this prestigious role. 🙏 Special thanks to Dr. Neha Abhiman Ramteke for the regular invites and interactions. Here’s how we’re making an impact:

1️⃣ 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬:
I’ve had the privilege of introducing advanced subjects such as Data Engineering, IoT Telematics, Cloud Computing, Generative AI, and Machine Learning into the curriculum. These subjects are designed to align with industry demands and prepare students for the digital future. 🌐💻🤖

2️⃣ 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐄𝐏 2020:
The focus of our 24th August Board of Studies meeting was to restructure the syllabus in line with India’s National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020). 📚 NEP 2020 advocates for a shift from summative assessment to regular, formative assessment that is more competency-based. This new approach promotes learning and development while testing higher-order skills like analysis, critical thinking, and conceptual clarity. 🧠📊

3️⃣ 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐩 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲:
By integrating these emerging technologies and aligning with NEP 2020, we ensure that students are not just learning theoretical concepts but are also acquiring practical, real-world skills that are highly valued in today’s job market. 🎓💼

4️⃣ 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
The inclusion of these subjects empowers students to harness the power of data and technology, driving innovation across various sectors. It prepares them to lead in tomorrow’s digital economy with a strong foundation in both theory and practice. 🔍💡
